frocashmoney24
you can rebuild it, and put a new o ring in it, i put a spring on mine fomr the kick starter to the frame, or i saw one guy had a bungi cord on his
checkster
i fixed mine for like 49 cents. take the kicker apart and remove the old oring. go to the hardware store and pic up a new oring the same size. while you're at it clean everything, wirebrush the pivot shaft, and brease everything up. so far its lasted a whole riding season. not bad for under a buck and a half hours work. its really easy. checkster
Banshee(XTC)
yes that rattling is really starting to annoy me too...think i will have to change the o-ring out. at one time the kick starter was really hard to get out so i added some wd-40. but yes while it fixed my problem it made that rattling alot louder. Note To Self: No more WD-40 on Kick Starter. LoL
fixitrod
Holyman use to have a "holyman tech" on that. He had pics and sizes to fix it right. I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

fixitrod
No spring there. You'll see the spring and ball when you pull the kickstarter off. It's used to put pressure on the ball that keep the kick starter in place. It's small. You'll see it when you pull the kickstarter.

bignasty1
i wish i would have thought about the holyman tech thing i forgot all about that. i just got done putin in my kick starter rebuild kit i dont care if it was a few bux it convieniently showed up at my door along with a few other parts i had ordered a while back and hav been waitin for and forgot about. it suck i had to rebuild mine cuz i was riding and the damn thing fell off and took all the lile parts inside with it so i kinda had no choice but to buy it it sucked i rode on a trip i had went 2 weeks back and the whole time i was there after i started my bike i had to put the starter back in my pocket and when i got stuck on a few hills it was a pretty shitty experience doin that on the hill but i had a good time...
