BAMF87
Guys HJR has my cylinders doing a dune port and milling the head. I'd like to go ahead and buy the jets I need to get it tuned. I live at 3000asl but and going on a trip to gordons which is 250-300asl I believe, where should I start with the jetting? Other mods are +4 timing, chariot reeds, fmf fattys, and 28mm pwk's

BUILDER
Just like he said talk to your builder. He is in California so he should be able to tell you what jets to buy for the setup he is building for you. Always best to talk to the buy building your shit first! BeeCanBanshee
Kevin put my jetting right on +/- one jet size when he did my cyls. Just shoot him a email. And make sure you check plugs after you rejet.
trickedcarbine
Every builder will call you at least once when getting you set up. Ask every question before handing over the billing info. Easiest way I've found yet.
apeik
With that exact same setup, the pipes/carbs/hjr dune port/timing, i ran a 155-158 main, N68A needles middle clip, and it ran like a sewing machine. Now about pilots, i got handed 68's, put them in and never knew they were that big until after a whole season, so it made it a little to rich unless i was down to 155 on the main. Id say try a 48-55 pilot maybe, and go on the airscrew from there. I actually got this jetting from kevin when i got it ported and switched carbs and im guessing the pilot was an accident since the print is impossible to read. This info is all reguarding gordons well only. Your milage may vary, but hopefully this get's you sorta close.
