Wont Kick Start but push starts fine - drives me crazy

haha...when he means rework it he means re-message the transfers and custom cut different domes.  The major problem that trinity has was incorrect dome designs that FORCED the motor to detonate and eat itself to death.  Unless you have the ability and brain power, along with the machinery and blanks to do custom cuts.......GO FOR IT! haha.........but DEFINATELY, we on this site are TOTALLY for rebuilding and doing all the work (as much as we can) on our own.

Good job getting it to run, you probly fouled those plugs , as mentioned above trinity did suck at building cheetah motors, my suggestion is to pull the head off get a set of domes from a repuitable builder (wild card, redline, matt shearer) tell them location and elevation even what kinda gas you eant to run, get it to run right and save your self a 1000$ +the tab when you can spend 100.00 dlls

Ha... You guys crack me up. Of course I don't have a machine shop in my garage. Would be nice though wouldn't it.

What I meant about running it till it blows up = well hopefully that doesn't happen but if it does I'll address it at that point. I've had banshees now, well since they first came out. For me I jetted & piped it. That was always fast a enough for me. Always ate up the 4-strokes. I've just never had a motor like this, hence the questions

It seems apparent no one likes Trinitys work. While I have yet to have a problem I hope it stays that way. So for now I'm gonna run it and run it hard for a while. See what happens.

Again, thanks for all the suggestions and information regarding Trinity. Fired off an email about the heads this morning. See what he comes back with.

Installed a new set of BPR8ES fired right up and ran well. Now idles after adjusting set screws.

Why the hell does Kiehn run plastic idle screws? This just seems idiotic if you ask me.

I used to have a Banshee that hung on like a thread, would only push start for a LONG while lol.  U need a top end dude, get at it while its still relatively inexpensive.  You blow it up, then you re looking at a crank too most likely.

The 421s arent known to be time bombs like the 535s. Their dome still leans alot to be desired.

Dome design is that important you say? Why yes it is. Improper domes can range from a blubbering impossible to tune mess to something that is a grenade at best. Theres domes that "work" AKA off the shelf stuff designed to work for a broad range of setups (like an adjustable wrench) then theres custom domes which are talored to you engine, riding and fuel. (The correct tool for the job at hand)

The bPr8es plugs have a projected electrode which run a little hohotter. Keep an eye on it.

The carbs use plastic idle screws to prevent chipping the chrome plated slides.
