After about ten fifteen minutes I can barely push the gas anymore because my thumb hurs that bad. Is there a kit to help with this or any tips or tricks you guys could give me. Cut te springs down in on the slides on in the throttle?start with 1/4 cool at a time on the slide springs that way you can make sure they still close all the way.... Starwriter Posted October 2, 2013 Report Share Posted October 2, 2013 Remove the spring out of the thumb throttle. It's only needed for the TORS. Buy a billet extended thumb throttle for a YFZ450. I want a good fix some of my buddy's bikes are sooooo friggin easy, mine is so hard most of the time I have to wrap my pointer and middle around the top.
