Not sure if I would go THAT far, but thanks for the tip, especially on the nerf bars not fucking up the engine.  I thought for sure it was either the nerf bars or the tire pressure, or possibly even the rear grab bar, turns out you were right and it was the carburetor after all.  I wish you would have dropped by earlier, could have saved us all quite a bit of time and chatter.  Good looking out anyway though, and congrats on not being #1 anymore!!!

Finally got to meet Chris today in person. Previously only talked on the phone. I was at work when he dropped the bike off. We put some VF3s in the bike today and it looks and sounds good. And he's pretty cool. Way smarter than most of you douchebags on here anyway. He doesn't know a lot about these turd bikes yet, but I'm pretty sure he can count a lot higher than most of you dumb asses without even taking his shoes off. Just thought I'd put that out there for some of you retards that posted and still have trouble forming complete sentences.

Ha.  Just now saw this, thanks d5 . . .although he's actually playing it up seeing as I got irritated enough trying to thread my transmission drain screw back in (or whatever you call it) that I had to take a quick breather and play catch with the dog for a few (I blamed it on 3 hours of sleep the night before, which is true) and it was partly thanks to my $90 eBay skid plate, but still, shouldn't be that tough.  All in good time, right?

But we did get her up and running, it's the best I've heard the bike sound since this whole project started, so thanks to everyone above for all the help, and needless to say, to d5 for putting in the time/work/storage, really do appreciate it.  Alright, enough of that shit and back to work . . . after some discussion this evening, I decided to replace my stock headlamps with either the bullet style lamps + mounting brackets via Trailtech (on Cascade Innovations website) or the Warn 200 Halogen Floodlamps (both 35 watt), what do you all think?  Any good or bad experiences with either?  Cascade's package comes with all the mounting hardware and what not, Warn's doesn't, so the latter of two would add an additional $55 or so, kind of torn between the two.  The Warn 200-H's would match my bike perfect, better than the TrailTech's as they're black with the small red "W" insignia, but with lights I'm more concerned with function over fit or aesthetics, want them to be bright with a wide parameter for Eastern Oregon trail riding.  Advice anyone?

I also ordered Cascade's THORS elimination kit this evening, as well as their idle screw kit so I can get rid of all that nonsense and clean the top end of the bike up a little.  Should be here in less than a week as they're a local company.  We also decided that next time I come out we're gonna repack both of my Toomey T5 silencers, remove the OEM tail/brake light all together, and try out the Toomey Hush Kit I bought just for the hell of it.  I want the rear light gone anyway, and we're going to fab some aluminum hanger brackets for the Toomey Silencers in order to run the (optional) Hush Kit when needed as the silencers sit too high right now for both.

Lastly, and then I'll shut up, I'm looking for a complete set of OEM size Banshee wheels (front and rear) specifically in black.  I thought about having my tires dismounted and my OEM wheels powder coated black by PDX Powdercoating, but by the time I pay for all of that and wait for them to be finished,  remounted, etc., I might as well have just bought a new set of wheels all together.  So if anyone has any ITP/Douglas/Whatever wheels in black, please message me, would definitely be interested.  I'll also have a new set of OEM wheels up for sale/trade once I do so, so if anyone is interested in those, let me know.
