Somewhat related to the above thread, I keep seeing this on a lot of your bikes, is there anyway to get this exact same cover except in a translucent black instead of translucent red?  If so, where do I go about buying one?

Ok that image cut and copy didn't work, but what I'm referring to is the see-through, circular red cover on the clutch/water pump side of the bike.  Would love to get one in black, but still somewhat translucent.  Are those even made?

$28 billion says it's not the needle and seat.

$29.5 billion says it's not the "wet side seal" but I do like the way you learn words and use the fuck out of them. Please tell me more about the ignition on a Banshee when you get time.. I will be waiting patiently.

$1.00 says it's a carb issue

$2.00 says it's a fouled plug or bad connection on boot or similar

PM Paypal info ^^^^

Only issue I knew of was it ran like at crap at and off idle. After sittin idling for a min or two the right side just stops running. Pulled the carbs. Found 25 pilots in it. Put 30s in it and it's been idling since. Don't really have any place to ride it though. But it's crisp off idle when I rev it.

Dave also found a small obstruction in the right side carb, so that could have been adding to the issue along with the smaller pilots.  We're planning on installing a set of VForce 3 Reeds here in the next couple days and repacking both silencers, and hopefully after all of that the bike will run like new.  Hopefully.  Murphy's Law would dictate that as soon as I get it back into my garage from Dave's, it will start having issues again, but I'm really hoping that's not the case.

@Joey83 - both plugs are brand new Iridium NGK's, I checked to see if they were fouled or not when I did a compression test on both cylinders (both tested 100%, by the way), and they still looked out of the box new, no carbon deposits or discoloring of any kind.  So, to your second point, yes, it was an issue with the right carb, but looks like we've got it figured out.  I still PayPal you $1 for getting it right on the carb suggestion, but withholding the other $2 because of my previous point about the plugs.
