Toomey T5's, Boyesen Reeds, K&N's..... 310 main sound about right for the winter?(20-50 Degrees) at 640 feet above sealevel. Now what I need to narrow down is Needle Position, and What's stock for the airscrew?

Thanks,

JP

310 is a good start and go from there. Try different needle positions and you should notice your shee pulling harder on the bottom. The stock pilot is 25 and air screw is at 1.5 turns out. Try different settings for the air screw and shee where it likes to be according to throttle response. If your shee likes the air screws .5 turn out or less, then try a larger pilot (27.5)

That sounds pretty close. I have T-5's, stock reeds, and dual K&N's running 310's with fuel mixed at 32:1 at 163 feet above sea level in the summer. I would run 320's in the winter if I rode it then.
