SyNtAxx
Hello all, My 95 Banshizzle is in need of its first rebuild. I am skepticle that the stock crank will be in good shape when I take the top end apart I will hope for the best. Ultimatly my goal is to have a big bore/ stroker motor. But I want to be able to use all my overbores before resleeving with a big bore kit. What kind of power output increase should I expect with a +4mm stroker crank ? Will I need larger carbs (prolly not)? What is estimated total power output with my mods listed below ? Do I have to do any port work for a stroker ? What pistons are good for topend Vitos, Wesico...OEM ? Will I be able to hide the spacer plate..for the all stock look ? What would the displacement be with a .20 over and a +4mm stroke? Thanks for all your help, Nick
PassionRE
A +4 stroker ported correctly is like the difference between a Honda Civic and a 396 SS Chevelle. A drop in +4 without taking in consideration of increased stroke doesn't even scratch the surface of what is available in the horsepower department. As for carbs, on +4's I reccomend 33's as a minimum if ported correctly. If not correctly ported, it doesnt matter, just leave ths stockers on there as your motor h.p output increase will be moderate at best. Go with the 795 series Wisecos for pistons and decking of the cylinder, or head mods will be in order as well. As for power output, with your pipes and mods Ive mentioned 80 h.p. is very achievable.....just depends on how radical you want it...Jim
