chris_sims1981
My banshee's clutch will not engage, I checked everything and found that the linkage below the carbs has no spring pressure at all. what could be the issue? sheerider11
Well, what did you do? Were you riding? Were you in the cover touching shit?
chris_sims1981
I bought it that way and the only thing i have done to it so far is change the clutch cover due to it having a crack in it, I didn't touch anything else
JUSTWANNARACE
Check that the arrow on the pressure plate is lined up with the arrow on the inner clutch hub
Starwriter
↑↑↑ What he said. Or your clutch is burnt up. Or you are mixed up on what engaged and disengaged mean. Buy a Clymer manual and then tear into it. If you're too cheap to pay Clymer for their efforts of printing the book, you're too cheap to own a Banshee.
chris_sims1981
I have the manual just not familiar with it because its only my second bike and I never had any clutch problems until now Edited September 26, 2013 by chris_sims1981
Starwriter
I have the manual Great. Now read every bit of the clutch section, check your adjustments according to the manual. If you still have problems, disassemble the clutch and inspect for the pressure plate assembled wrong or worn parts.
