laporta682
newbie here on my first banshee coming from a 686 raptor, I traded the raptor for my banshee and 2 weeks later it seized up on me.... pulled the motor and my crank was jb welded together and both pistons exploded. I had a local mechanic who specializes in banshees rebuild it with a hot rod 4 mil stroker crank and a ported & polished head to match the 4 mil with a .20 over bore. I also have full t 5s and white bros boost bottle. what should I expect as a power difference? will it be faster than my 686 raptor? how much hp should it be making? special06shee
A 4mil motor should make between 30 to 120hp. It all depends on how it was built. Honesty, with with the info you have given, id say you'll be at 45-50 hp
hughmyron
Boost bottle you say? Should leave you at like 90whp. Edited September 2, 2013 by hughmyron
RagunCajun
The person who ported your juggs will be able to answer best. If he cant, you should of had him do your engine work. Give him a call tomorrow during business hours and find out. As for being faster than another bike, line them up and find out.

ban565
I had a 4mil stock cyl drag ported that was to be between 75 to 83 hp. Raced a few 686 and never lost.
