m671054 Posted September 3, 2013 Report Share Posted September 3, 2013 Wasnt the door actuator also an issue on these trucks? they run a hot heater core full time and blend the air according to temp knob position. thought i read somewhere that the doors break or motors strip out causing the hot air to leak past. Also read that you can put a ball valve on the line to the heater core to just shut the heater core off which is what I did. As for the clutch engagement mine is loud and violent as well.
