Top end is a 421cc 68mm bore/64mm stroke CP industries serval cub cylinder with cleanup port by Jeff of F.A.S.T. racing. Hot rods +4stroke longrod crank with Wiseco 68mm pistons. ProDesign cool head with 24cc domes cut by F.A.S.T. also. Straight cut drive gears and billet clutch basket with high flow water impeller sit behind the F.A.S.T. lockout clutch with lexan access window to clutch plates. Billet timing plate with extra bearing to support output shaft. Supporting mods include 35mm Keihin PWK carbs on a billet manifold, VF3 reeds, R2 inframe pipes, and dynatek ignition.Suspension includes +2 wide +1 forward A-arms with PEP triple rate shocks with ressies valved/sprung by Matt at SoCal suspension. YFZ brake calipers and braided line. Rear includes a +2 swingarm with roundhouse (honda style) carrier and an early raptor rear shock with upgraded spring and gold valve kit (similar to an elka rear) also valved/sprung by Matt.There are also other goodies such as a larger 5 gallon fuel tank, nerf bars, skid plates, oversized aluminum radiator, ect.Used to have a lot of fun racing this in hair scrambles and challenging black diamond trails but it is the least used of my "toys" since I moved into town. I ask a fair price in hopes that a buyer makes a fair deal. The first year I built the 421 serval and new suspension I surprised a lot of raptors and 450s! But riding places dried up (or became regulated) and friends sold their machines. Thinking about building a quick boat... hmmm. Anyway, title in hand! When I built it, the 421 serval was supposed to be around 80hp/50ft/lbs with a wide torque curve. I do know with the rocket pipes the powerband comes on at 5200-5300rpm and signs off around 9700rpm. Mind you, my riding group consists of stock cyl/piped/jetted banshees (some ported) and piped/jetted 450s and 700 raptors... but I embarrass them in the open. lol Who knows, I may keep it for shiggles. Or part out the frame/suspension and fit the motor into a YFZ/TRX chassis!?!? Only people interested are lowballers and kids with no money. I got a text from someone saying "I'll give you an even 2 grand for your quad and pick it up saturday in the A.M." gotta_goatsfast Posted August 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 Second option is to part out the +2 swingarm with honda style carrier, a-arms, shocks, all the other misc. stuff and keep the serval motor until I come across a TRX/YFZ450 chassis. Or go back to a stock length swinger and some long travel arms/shocks up front.
