JerryM
Hello. I need some help with where to set my jetting. Got a used banshee with a rebuilt motor because I wanted the engine out of it for our other banshee that blew up. The engine has a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe...stock carbs with dual uni filters...elevation abot 1050 ft...cylinders about .040 over...60-70 degree weather..I am going to mix the gas 32:1. I just wanted to know where a good starting point is with the pilots, mains, and air screws. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me
JerryM
Also forgot to ask about reeds. . One engine I think has stock reeds (white plastic) and the other has carbon fiber looking ones. . Not sure what brand they are. Maybe someone can give me their 2 cents on which ones might work better for me. Thanks
kedge82
i ahve fmf sst .60 over stock with carbonfiber reeds witch are way better than stock using twin k&n air filters in a box and my jetting is 30 pilot and 270 main at 850 elevation air screw out about 2 maybe a touch less also running 32:1 start your mains at 300 if u have a whole jet kit and go down from there. take it out run it through the gears while getting on it if it losses power in fourth or fithe gear basically bogs out u are to rich and need to de rase your main jet
