2004LEBanshee
I have a stock engine and I have heard great things of the noss head but I don't want to mess up my engine yet. Will the head tear up my stock pistions or rings? I dont want to do a rebuild in a year. its still new.
Blue Duece
i think you'll be fine unless you go with such a low cc dome that you tear your stock crank up, stick with a 20cc or higher and you'll notice your bike has way more punch all through the power band, tell David at Noss you dont want to change your studs, and you want 20cc domes, you'll be safe at any elevation with 20's (at least with the noss 20's) you can install it yourself in about an hour, the Noss head is great looking also and Noss has outstanding service....... dlnoss
Thanks Deuce!! Yes, 20cc domes won't overstress your engine components. Most people around Oklahoma run 20cc domes with pump gas if their timing is stock. -David
eehsnab2
How small can you go if your crank is welded up, can change timing up to 7degrees, and dont mind running 50/50 gas without running into porting issues?
dlnoss
I probably wouldn't go smaller than 19cc on 50/50 at sea level with the timing advanced.
eehsnab2
Do run into porting problems after this?
dlnoss
Do run into porting problems after this? I would be concerned about detonation. I don't know of any porting problems that there would be.

David it's my pleasure guy, i think your product speaks for itself, and i cant thank you enough for the hookup on jim at passion racing, and the nice cool domes, and jim tells me i now have one of your reed spacers as well, did that get me another Noss sticker?lol.......thanks David......jim
