Spanks906
I see your new. This is posted in the Suspenison section. The motor is built. Yes but you asked what is a better place for cash. Without knowing this info I suggested the motor. Next logically is suspension. New, not stupid.

And or is there any better dune setup in the 650$ dollar range.
sheerider11
How about some works and a set of a arms? I bought my stuff used here for a deal.
thomas h.
I seen some stuff but most is in the 15-16 inch shock range And for a bit more he could get 18.25. And it will be new/ lo miles( 2012) Edited July 24, 2013 by thomas h.

Spanks906
Motor is NEVER a better option to upgrade before suspension, unless the bike is a drag queen. O said it because most people want power first. OP- On a budget, I would look for some used +2 a-arms and used aftermarket banshee shocks. Save money by buying used and send the shocks to MattSCSS to be set up for you. You should be able to find a used front end for around $500. I just rebuild my bike (stock motor) and am doing suspension first. Already lots of power
thomas h.
just because you put yfzr shocks on your banshee, doesn't mean you can hit bowling balls and not feel it. Yfz shocks 14.75 Yfzr shocks 18.25 plus I don't think anyone can judge them to harsh because they haven't been out for that long. Most used works I've seen for banshee are about 14-15 inch Alba a arms designed for 17-18 Most plus 2 arms designed for 14 -16 Plus alba will swap ball joints for free so he can still use his yfz450 Alu spindles. This is budget long travel and totally get that he will have an issue if he hits a bowling ball on his dune quad.
thomas h.
Dune Elkas are about 700$ Used Elkas are about 500$ These low miles yfzr 250$. These shocks have hi and low speed adjustments. Works do not. Budget dune bike. If some could say hey Thomas check out this guys shit it could be more cost effective than alba or something close, that would be great.
