joey83
Hey Ok guys. Anybody ever ride at Eufaula dam? Im right between Appalacia Bay and Eufaula dam. Took my 4 year old to App Bay last weekend and people were just drunk and stupid. Is Eufaula Dam worth going to? Or is there any other places anybody would recommend around Tulsa-ish? slobanshee
Check with the dam listing to see if gates are open. If gates are open there's very little riding available

joey83
I will check out Whitefiled. Tulsa has a large MX track called Tulsa Motocross Park, but I don't think they allow quads. Sometimes we go to South 75 MX track which is only 15 min from my house. But I'd rather ride something on the river where I can get my son away from all the traffic and let him rip. Appalacia Bay SUCKED last time I went. Everybody was acting stupid and boaters were running 300' of rope to tie off and ruining the beach where nobody could ride there. There are 30 miles of shoreline but 20-30 boats all wanted to tie up right where we all ride. Does anybody know anything about riding down the Arkansas River? I've heard you can get down on the sand around Jenks, Haskell, and a lot of smaller places and be able to ride for miles. Thanks everybody---
FullThrottle_06'
I'm about 45 mins from whitefield but have never bothered to go ride it yet. If the river has come back down, I have heard that the riding is pretty bad ass and there is usually a few fast bikes out there for drag racing. I plan on making a trip before the weather turns to shit and my buddy is home off the rig.
camatv
whitefield is epic. get a bunch of dragracers that aren't afraid to go 80+mph and that is the perfect spot..
joey83
Just in case somebody comes across this wanting to know about Eufaula dam--- Take some paddle tires. The sand was insane deep on the trails so we ended up riding all over the river bed. There were only 5-6 other quads out there so it was nice to not have to worry about idiots running over my kiddo. We were able to ride 2+ miles up and down the river and could have went further.
