TIM LUTZ
Hey all, What's the vote for the best replacement reeds for stock cages. Looking for bottom end. See my sig for mods. How much better would a set of VF3's be for torque with my setup? Racing XC, GP and HS. Thanks
sheerider11
Well the vf2 and vf4 seem to be the main pics for people looking for the most

I've heard people changing them every seasonBut yeah people are either keeping the 2s or stepping up to 4s or selling off there 3s for 4s
250rbanshee
If you want more low end go with the vf4's. I recently switched from my stock cages and tdr reeeds to the 4's and it made a diference. The power comes on sooner and is smoother than before and still pulls like crazy in the upper revs. Also go with more compression to help low end. I just did a comperssion check yesterday. 150/151 Anyone run the Chariot cages?
trickedcarbine
Chariot cages would be a great improvement for the combo and riding you listed.
2strokeshees
I would go with VF4's or the chariot cages. You will get good low end out of both.
Coupelx
Chariot cages are not rubber coated to dampen the reeds. If you have money then the claims on vf4s are impressive. Otherwise dual stage reeds in fiberglass would be fine. For low end and longevity you will want to avoid carbon fiber reeds.
BANSHEE CHAOS
Hell I'm going to take out my VF's and get some Boyesens! B-)

Yes the tdr's are good reeds IMO. The vf4's are just better at low mid and top and they are smoother than the tdr's. Well worth the money. I've heard good things about the chariot cages also.
