Young Guns Racing
I noticed LOTS of guys on this site buying, selling, and trading alky carbs. Whats the benefit of running alky over gas for a trail/play bike?
Zillaguy
Alky is for racing to keep combustion temps in check, and to run more radical timing curves, and higher compression without detonating..
mike0chek
i agree with zilla, i find i have to re fuel too much as it is with my drag port cub on 91 oct.
Young Guns Racing
Thats what I thought, just alot of drag setups being parted out I guess. I've never looked into alcohol so I wasnt sure but what I knew so far seems to be correct. I get curious about these things and I like learning. J-Madd
Advantages are more torque and hp, easier tune-ability, less heat, inexpensive (compared to race gas).
