Nieskes
Motor will rev quicker, you will sound fast and have to worry about it flying apart. Some big guys claim it causes them to "bog" down, I would blame that on there set up but who knows. You will not see a difference in your time, IMO you should just stay with the stock flywheel, Everything will feel alot smoother.
sheerider11
My stock broke, bought one here. Turned out to be a lightened. Couldn't notice a difference
DBR06Banshee10
Oh ok cause i see alot of ppl run them and i had to ask the question because a couple of my guys shaved theres and said it should run faster
dirtydownunder
heavy fly wheel better for trails, has more inertia to keep the motor turning, light fly wheel better for racing as youre always in high rpm, and lighter reciprocating mass = less load on the motor = free-er motor.
DBR06Banshee10
Im going to be trail riding and a little bit of drag racing nothing major

#1JUANstunna
I run both and can't see a difference in how the bike runs or revs. I just give it hell and it goes.
Zillaguy
In theory a lightened flywheel will rev out quicker, with less torque... A stock flywheel takes a little longer to rev out, but is torquier.. You want stock for trail riding.. I know a few guys that do Trials riding and actually put weights on their flywheels, to give the motors more rotating mass.. It helps with those quick standing uphill launches.. Coupelx
I ran one for a day back to back with a stocker. It was noticibly snappier in the lower gears. What goes up fast does come down fast so it takes a bit to get used to how it rides. Try it and see if you like it. And stop with the less torque thing motherfuckers. Everytime there's a flywheel thread someone spouts off with oh you will see less tq. You have less stored energy not less torque.
