Raps are fast, no doubt. You'll win though. Start in second and hammer the throttle, power shift the whole way. You should win by a few bikes (1-3) Dont forget, they are almost twice your displacement, so dont take the Raps for granted.

I laughed as I read some of those posts with people stating "with those mods, you'll beat him." Mods don't mean shit if you can't ride, lol. I've raced my friend's raptor many times, when it was stock, and after he modded it, and I've beaten him 95% of the time, and my shee's bone stock. His mods are about the same as far as the type of mods, only his are CT exhaust, and a full K&N kit. Only engine mod I have is new spark plugs, and a billet water impellor. Even he admits I'm a better rider, because I can hop on his raptor and race him on my banshee and beat him. It's all the rider, the mods just give the rider some assistance. Now granted... most people with mods are fast because they are 1) a good rider, 2) a good rider, and 3) have good mods, but once again... you can stick someone who's not as experienced of a rider on a full blow drag banshee, and there's a 50/50 chance he'll still get beat by the experienced rider on a stock warrior (hypothetically speaking of course).

Point is... you proved him wrong, and that's all that counts, but don't let that go to your head. You should always be humble about yourself when racing... it doesn't bruise the ego and self esteem as much as talking trash before, and getting your ass handed to you afterwards. :P
