CAJUN BANSHEE
What's a good epoxy for installing a powerjet? Replacing my old ones on my lectrons with billet ones. And just for the record, removing the old epoxy and jet is no picnic!!

trickedcarbine
Billit power jets ehh.... Who makes those?
CAJUN BANSHEE
Kevin at lectron fuel systems claim they're an upgrade. Said they are a better design. I've broke the brass hose barb off mine twice so he hooked me up with these. Should get em in next week, I'll post pics.
J-Madd
JB weld works for me. People argue that alky breaks it down, but I have sealed up a hole in the bottom of a carb with it that's stayed sealed for years.

camatv
devcon also. OR moroso a+b. that is alky safe. and MUCH cheaper and easier to use than the devcon alluminum putty.. i'd like to see pics of these billet PJ's also. in my experience the BEST power jet is the DMR but who knows if you can get those anymore at all. CAJUN BANSHEE
Devcon Which one? I found the website but there's quite a few.

I found the devcon but some reviews claim it's hard to mix, like a two part puddy. It's a tight spot between both jets. And I'll post pics as soon as I get it. Hopefully I didn't misunderstand what he sold me. Since yall never heard of the billet pj.

If you end up needing help later on those Lectrons in a Banshee application, I'd highly recommend going to Packard. He's proven himself to be able to get them right. CAMATV on here too. But I've heard mixed reviews from going directly to Lectron in a Banshee application.
Nieskes
Packard pretty much set mine up over the phone. When i got on the dyno I was only 1.5 turns off on my PJ and 1 turn on the rod. And that was starting from scratch!
CAJUN BANSHEE
Thanks yall, I would like to talk to Packard or cam once I get to actually run this bike. It's just been one thing after another, not to mention the wife and I having twins 2 months ago. Not much banshee time, but I squeeze it in. m671054
Are the powerjets threaded in or is the epoxy the only thing holding them in? If they thread in i wouldnt worry as much about alky compatablity. Im gonna try lock tight 5min epoxy on my next set. comes with mixing nozzle all you do is squeeze it out and apply. i have used plastic weld before on the bowl barbs with no problems. you should sent those abortions to dennis like we told you last time when you had the wrong needle and seats. btw, want to sell those 3.5? send me a pm if you do
Deadbeat
Devcon Plastic Steel Putty is good stuff, it sets like rock and you can smooth it over nice with a bit of water before it sets
Rotax Raptor
If you call Packard be prepared to talk for a while. He is a wealth of knowledge for what we do. Good Dude!!!
