So Cal Suspension
I was referring to the fact that this was posted in the drag section, not that a DM couldn't be used on a trail bike...
locogato11283
I was referring to the fact that this was posted in the drag section, not that a DM couldn't be used on a trail bike... Gotcha. I would probably recommend the PWK for either gas or alky, but I know a lot of builders like the Lectrons. I believe the 39PWK and 44 Lectrons actually measure the same size. You do realize that OUR builder would most likely recommend 39PWK for this motor right?
Guest JohnTabata
39 PWKs are similar to Lectron 44s if the bore gets machined on the PWKs, but the Lectron 44s will still have a bigger bore size. I use Lectrons... 41.3 on my 4mil and 44s on my 10mil.

Nieskes
Funny, not only did K&T say it would be a great motor for it, but your buddies at Shearer said the same thing.... It's cool though, not un-like people to hate on something they've never tried.Dont get crabby.

LT ROOKIE
I need one setup for 1/8 mile asphalt on alky. Just trying to find the right builder for what I'm trying to do. That's why I'm asking for personal experience. I thought about k&t but I'm a lil skeptical that they have cylinders already ported ready to go. I thought every build is to the customers needs.
