CrashRyan
So i have a brand new build great compression on both sides, new v force 4 reeds, new chariot intakes, new keihin 35mm carbs, new plugs, used pipes, used coil, leak down test was perfect. heres the deal i know that alot of people have already asked the question about why am i running less exhaust in one pipe then the other and i have pretty much learned that it could be anything causing it. However i came across a unconventional solution that someone posted and i wanted to know your guys thoughts on it. Keep in mind this is something that i found on this forum and me being new to the shee scene thought is sounded kind of wild but at the same time in my case it might just work and i wanted your thoughts. in order to get my exhaust to through the same pressure i have my carbs out of sync (I dont plan on running this way) but in doing this i am able to put off the same pressure. My question is that i came across a post on here that you could potentialy have to run diffrent jetting in each carb where they are pretty much individual as far as how air and gas flow though each pipe and cylender. What are your guys thoughts on running a step up or down as far as jetting in diffrent side carbs? Can it be done? or is it looking for a complete meltdown? n2otoofast4u
How are you measuring exhaust pressure?

WINDYCITYJOHN400
If the porting is mismatched it's possible for each cylinder to need different jetting. (The real solution is to fix the porting.) But I'm 90% sure your issue is related to something else. Clean carbs and all passages as well as set your float heights (Float height can effect the way each jet acts...it's not just about keeping the bowls full) then sync the carbs so the slides are identical. Start with that. If the problem continues - check packing in pipes - inspect your reeds - then turn your attention to your electronics
CrashRyan
How are you measuring exhaust pressure? it is extremely noticable the flywheel side is barley alive and the clutch side is idling normal
WINDYCITYJOHN400
Try another set of fresh plugs, swap plug wires and see if the problem moves from one side to the other. Also click on 375hp Banshee's link above ^^^^^ and give that a look through.
