LT ROOKIE
What does a drag ported 4mill DM on alky make for HP? Are builders continuously testing and improving them like the 10mills? If I go with the 10 MILL it will be redline, who do u recomend for the most power out of a 4mill DM?

locogato11283
If you've got the money go 10DM. I had a 10DM and I've run against a 4DM and 10DMs hillclimbing and I see a pretty noticeable difference in tires and gearing. They're a good solid motor in my opinion. bluebanshee98
I have a 10dm from redline. Kickass motor for sure. What exactly are you doing with the bike? Hill climbing? Ect Ect
n2otoofast4u
DMs aren't cheap regardless of the size. If your going to put up the cash for a 4 you really aren't too far away from a 10.

fappy'97
Why don't you run that 18dm? That was such a great running motor.........
LT ROOKIE
I want to stay in the 650 cc class and I hear the 4 and 10 mm DM are fast motors
LT ROOKIE
I sold the 18 topend and bottomend and will do a 10mm dm. It looks like cam is getting around 146 hp so that will be a very competetive motor for the 650 class. I don't think a 14dm will make much more that that. badassbanshee479
I just put together a k&t 10dm and I love it! Had it at the track last weekend and off the trailer it went 4.45 and I am 245lbs by the end of the night I had it going consistent 4.0 passes with tons left in it... This is in a single a arm wheelman chassis strutted with a bar running 300' sand
LT ROOKIE
Did they give u any hp numbers? I'm 240 so that motor should move me pretty good.
n2otoofast4u
Im not trying to be a cs. But if you are looking to class race and you are 240 you are wasting your time. Your already 100 pounds over jockey weight. If you have a jockey and are set on the 650 class then a 10dm is a good choice. I've seen them run low 3.60s with a good jockey. If your looking to chase the record your going to want to look at a 64stroke 80bore or something along those lines that is right on the breaking point. If your not going to use a jockey then forget about all that class racing bs and just build a motor that is affordable and that you will enjoy. LT ROOKIE
I didn't say I'm going to win, but I would like to race that class when they have major races. Other than that I want to have fun at the local track beating the street bikes.
