turbowrenchhead
I thought that I would spread the word around for anyone looking for a place to ride. I'm originally from Florence WI so that's how I know about this place. The campsite is called Camping in the Clouds. They have a website. They are right on the ATV trail system in Florence. Florence has 250 miles of groomed wide trails that you can fly on. Plus they connect to Michigan and the counties south of Florence. We rented the camper in the pics for $35 a night. You can't beat that. The campground also has a bar/restaurant, indoor pool and showers. The view!

turbowrenchhead
I heard that the riding near Hurley is pretty nice. Have you been riding there?
mhoksch
I've been going to winter every year for about 10 yrs. We end up hitting some of the trails near Hurley on those rides. Only actually ridden out of Hurley the one time last year but I love the trails up there. I really want to try making it to the Pumpkin Run some time too. The only thing I really don't like about riding up there is the Iron. It's a bitch to scrub all the red dust and mud off at the end of the trip. P.S. The stip clubs in Hurley are always good for a few laughs. Some interesting times to be had in those...
turbowrenchhead
Florence has iron ore on the old railroad grades. It is a pain to wash off. It gets everywhere. I heard about the local Hurley strip clubs, sounds like a good time to me!
