EmpirE231 Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 ok, I just put this thing on and I cant figure out how to mount the rear light? are you not supposed to use the light w/ this bumper? anyway... AC products look really good, the welds are very clean... the only thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the geometry.. it was a little un-even but I wont complain. ....by the way, I'm the new guy so... hello. evil Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 hi, welcome, if i remember right, the ac grab bar has no mounts on it for the rear light. you could make a new bracket to mount it under there but i know everyone with an ac bar dont run the light anyway. later Quote

EmpirE231 Posted November 3, 2003 Author Report Posted November 3, 2003 ok, thanks for the reply's... I just kinda made my own brackets that bolted up pretty good and I mounted it on. it looks pretty good, I'll try to get a picture of it. the bumper is coming in this week... so we'll see how that goes Quote
mcaf29 Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 I had the same problem with my AC front bumper. I just took a BFH to the side that didn't fit on the bumper It only took a few hits to line it up. Quote
Meat Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 WTF is the matter with the guys at AC. They have to be using a jig to weld up thier products, but EVERYONE has a story about thier AC bumper or grabbar or whatever not lining up. I have thier "mudscreen" front bumper and ya know how its got those 4 little arms that attach the bumper to the frame, all 4 of these arms are fucked up, nothing is uniform, it looks like the guy welding it, held the main part of the bumper in one hand and eyed up the placement of the little arms and just welded em up, looked at it and said "close enuf". AC is junk IMHO, I can give more examples of AC junk parts. PRM for bumpers and skids and Graydon for nerfs. "AC" stands for...... "all crap" Quote
SICK BOY Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I have a AC front bumper with the mud screen, and I know what you guys mean.I had to hit it with a hammer a bit to get the mounts to line up.Now I see that I'm not alone. Quote
EmpirE231 Posted November 20, 2003 Author Report Posted November 20, 2003 and their shipping sucks! I orderd a new front numper w/ the screen almost a month ago and it's still not here! I need that shit before thanksgiving. I might just cancel it and get the white bro's bumper? Quote
