turbowrenchhead
So I just found that my rear bracket is bent and is the cause of throwing my chain. Will a 91-06 rear collar fit up on my 87 axle?
turbowrenchhead
89-06 is the same 5 spoke design right? 87-88 is a 4 spoke?
Dick Dragon
I believe they are the same. When I ordered my axle it listed "all years" for application.
Starwriter
The later style is actually 6 bolt. It is a little bigger in diameter. The later style swingarms have the rectangle tubes flattened out at the back end. Possibly for clearance of the bigger sprocket hub. So, what I am saying is that the larger diameter sprocket hub may hit the swingarm tube on the early style swingarm. I have both styles but have never tried to swap hubs.
