1635497banshee Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 got a prob and cant seem to figure it out hoping someone can help me when i first start my banshee it revs real high i have checked the cables everything is in the right place adjusted the air screw 1-1/2 out the choke tube is right i have just replaced all the gaskets and everthing so i dont think there is a air leak if i pull the choke half out once it is running it idles normal after i run it awhile and shut it off then start it again it doesnt do it but it also wont stay running at a idle then Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bansheedemon Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 Sounds lean at first idle. Lean makes it rev high, so different jetting or maybe an air leak. Jereme6655 Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 just because you replaced all the gaskets doesn't mean there isn't an air leak. I had to rebuild my motor this past winter and had a tough time getting the reed gaskets to seal up.....and that was using new gaskets. I wound up calling my builder and asking if he ever had problems and what his choice method of fixing it was....... Moral of the story......ALWAYS DO A DAMN LEAKDOWN TEST!!!
