themafia_69
hi guys, i love the site, its been my dream since i was a little kid to get a banshee. i want to get one for my 17th birthday and i was wondering what can i do to mod it heavily. i saw that u all reccomend the toomey tr6 pipe kit, but is that all that i would need? cuz i dont know what comes in the kit and what else u need, im confused. also i want to get rims on it cuz it will mostly be for street use, kinda ironic since i live in saudi arabia, but i saw soo many quads with rims in music videos so which size rims would fit on the banshee? i also love the sound of the banshee so is there any way to magnify the sound? i mean i dont know if mufflers exsist for quads, lol btw guys how much do brand new banshees cost in the states? here i think they are around 4800 us dollars is that a good price? Yamaha350T
I have seen a raptor with 22 inch car rims, you probably have a liitle less clearance on a banshee though, so I dont know. Can you register quads in Saudi Arabia?? I wish I could do that here.
acracing55
2 of the best mods: tommey t5's if your wanting to race about 500.00 www.dynoport.com dyno pipes sound like indy cars if you like to ride and show off your bike AND: www.trinityracing.com ymaha banshee 420 big bore kit +70-72 h.p! If I was you I would also change to k&n filters or toomey filters stocks pull down power. Be ready for the scariest ride of your life unless your used to it. Make sure you dont pop the cluctch the 1st time you ride....
lowriderb
i wouldnt put car rims on your bike unless you change your gearing for it also.. as far as pipes, toomey is a good brand to go with, also you would want to change the air filters and the jetting to go with the pipe changes. also with stock cylinders i wouldnt waste any money on a big bore kit as a 350 can make a whole lot of power too.. ive see a 350 making about 100 hp, course no one belives it can be done unless you know better.. or if you do go with something go with a stroker crank that will give you more hp than a stock cylinder big bore. hope this helps. Justintoxicated
Air filter, Pipes, Headlights...? (Porting and polish, larger carbs for the porting port stock reed cages) adjustable timing plate. Paddle tires for sand, Oh wait you said heavily moded, better add a couple more things... Longer A-arms with new shocks up front extended swingarm for the back, wider axle for the rear. The list goes on forever...It depends what you want at first though, better handeling or more speed. You need to get the silencers with the pipes but there is no muffler just a silencer. if your serious about engine work go with CPI's T5's or Fatts over the T6's or SST's the T6's and SST's are designed mroe around the stock engine. Of course its probably fast enough untill you lean how to ride it, even stock...just make sure you get a K&N with an outerwear, or a UNI foam filter, the stock one is a POS and can cost you your new bike. Good filter, Pipes, and Proper Jetting are the best first mods IMO.
