LURKZILLA
so ive decided 421ccs is all I need for a trail and cross country bike. plan is to run pwk 35 2 in 1 setup with airbox and powerlid. now I can pretty much guess its gonna take a lot of fuel. has anyone had similar, im thinkn that 1 35mm carb is gonna starve on that motor. what do yall think? LURKZILLA
10-4 got pj 34s I just liked the idea of turing one carb over and replacing one jet while still on the bike lol. also, adjustable timing plate....? where should I start there for best performance? Deadbeat
i you look through some of the 2 into 1 carb threads, most peeps try a single for a while then go back to twins..worth a read
trickedcarbine
To be honest with you, most that do the 2-1 have no idea how to tune. Most are using the incorrect set up. Most are using the wrong needle. Most are using it for the type of riding.^This! And..... Why cripple a 421 with a single carb? I suppose a 41 would maybe work, but the problem is that it is a combo that you won't find much info on. So you are kinda on your own tuning.
