Hey guys, im finally starting to build a 4 mil and want to keep the bike somewhat trail-able so I'm looking at plus 4 swingarms. I see there are three diferent designs: standard, ladder, and arched.  I am more interested in the standard or ladder type swingarm from stellar.  Could you guys give me some insight on differences (excluding the aesthetics) of these two types.  I know ladder systems are used on vehicles for better weight transfer as well as a reduction in axle wrap/wheel hop.  Does this concept also apply to swingarms, Thanks guys

YES, there are major differences in these arms.. Looks is NOT the only difference.

Depending on the type of riding that will be done, one will work better than the other and hold up better.

For your recreational type riding, I would run a heavy duty round tube or ladder style arm.

You can also contact Wheelman Chassis, Turbo Chassis and Fireball Racing here on BansheeHQ for swingarms.
