trpkkd
I have Toomey silencers and was wondering if I could just take some steel mesh and put it behind the tips? And if so what would be the best material?

Starwriter
I meant Arrestor stupid auto correct. So, turn off the auto correct. Everybody hates it. Few people bother to turn it off.
trpkkd
I ride the trails around my town in northern Michigan. I've never been stopped yet but as far as I was told all they do is shove a stick in your silencer and if it stops by a certain point your good to go. Larry's Shee
I just used kitchen sink drain screens from dollar store 2/$1. Actually thought of getting letter stamps and copying whats stamped on the stock silencers.

Jereme6655
no shit. We ride out of Mio. Nice to know there's a few more banshee riders around. That being said....the only time ive seen law enforcement is over in Lewiston. And it wasn't the DNR, it was the Sheriffs out on their quads. Seen both of them twice and ive talked with them asking about the new laws about riding on sides of the roads.....and neither of them mentioned anything about the non-spark arrested silencers I had on at the time. Since then ive upgraded.....but I never got messed with. Both of the sheriffs were really nice and told me that as long as your not doing anything "completely stupid" they're not out to bother you. Hit me up sometime....my buddy and I would have no problems taking a few rides with local riders up there. Jereme

trpkkd
Okay thanks guys. I'm currently redoing my banshee at the moment I need new crank bearings but as soon as I get them on I should be good to go. Would love to get together and ride with some other banshee riders.
