89mustang
I've just put on a set of t5's and silencers. Runs awesome. I have a 27.5 pilot in 300main and stock needle on the 4th clip down from the top. It's runs good, but if you just tip in the the throttle it'll die out. I have the air box lid on but a 4x6 hole cut in the top and snorkel removed. 650' elevation. Also pilot screw out 2.5 turns.
89mustang
Could it be my pilot is too big. Had kind of a high idle with the stock 25 in.
Larry's Shee
IMO, you are real close. Try dropping needle one clip and fiddle with the air screw. Only go 1/16-1/8 turn at a time and see how it likes that.
89mustang
Drop the needle to richen it or lean it out?
sheerider11
If you move the clip more towards the top that drops the needle leaning it out
89mustang
Ok thanks. I'm new to rejetting a carb never have done it before this weekend. The banshee is all stock you think the middle clip won't be to lean
tdod101
Middle clip is a pretty common setting, if you all you have is pipes or reeds than ya middle clip is fine
