Chip700r
Hi everyone I have a 92 banshee with stock mikuni carbs, long k&n air filters, aggressive port job, shaved head, and old school fmf pipes their gold series look to be fattys. Anyway I've currently got 320 mains in it stock needles stock position stock pilots I run it at sea level. Last trip it violently exploded and I'd like suggestions on a safer jet. I'm thinking 330 or 340.
ban565
Not quite sure what you meant saying violently exploded.
fastbanshee8
Start with a 27.5 pilot. FMF's like a richer pilot.
Chip700r
By violently exploded I mean it ruined my crank and both my pistons. Melted one piston, and warped the other. 27.5 do you know what that is in mikuni talk I don't have any keihin jets to compare to.
Chip700r
Never mind that when I read your post I skipped "mains". Ok I'll try it.

sheerider11
320 should be plenty really. Rebuild and do a leakdown test
Chip700r
Wouldn't it leak out the reeds anyway. But yeah I'm gonna step up my pilot size.
