rg97
wisecos never failed me. 795 series I think... never tried vitos pistons, but their cranks are great
banshee jump
Im not talking about reliability but about power
BUILDER
There is no power diff in pistons for a banshee dude. They will all run the same it is just a matter of how long they last.
Surfrjag
if those vitos are the ones with the relief cut on the exhaust side you may feel a power gain with those.
rg97
I found this on vitos website under tech information: Our line of Super Stock pistons for Banshee and Blaster work to add power by simulating that the exhaust ports in your stock cylinder are timed differently which really means the same as hand ported with out the hassle. The Super Stock is notched on the dome next to the exhaust port to theoretically raise the port, which will raise the rpm range of the engine and develop more mid to topend power. If your engine is ported, on the Banshee you do not want to be less than the height of 28mm or 1.10236 inches from the top of the exhaust port to the top of the bore. On the Blaster if hand ported the height should not be less than 31.5mm or 1.240 inches if used in cylinders with this high of a port opening the engine will be very peaky and may fall out of the power range during gear changes. No special machining is required. Checking piston to head clearance is always recommended. Rejetting is mandatory.

banshee jump
What is the best aftermarket part under the range of 200 dollars that could give me the most power?
Dick Dragon
Add $50 or so and get it ported.
rg97
if you can get porting cheap, then I would also get pods and ditch the air filter box, and advance your timing with a woodruff key or adjustable plate. may need new jets as well. Dont forget to buy a purple powerband with double asymmetrical white stripes. Edited May 30, 2013 by rg97
Dick Dragon
Don't go cheap on anything, buy wisely! Oh and DO NOT use a timed key, just asking for problems.
banshee jump
cant get it ported since my bike is in morocco . Does anyone have experience with 34mm keihin pj carbs hom much hp do you gain installing them?
Dick Dragon
Those Carbs won't help much unless you have the motor to use them. Stock carbs work pretty good for stock to mid builds. The best mods to start are good pipes and porting. After that theres not much for bolt ons until you add stroker cranks and longrods. For what you have available, you may gain from the Vito's but don't be surprised if it's not what you expect. Have you advanced the timing? Do some reading on here there is some really good info between all the "FUN"
