weekend racer tire option

Hey guys I need some suggestions on tires. My bike isn't a full out drag bike but I do like to drag so I want a spare set for dragging. I was at busco beach and I couldn't hook with my dirt tires I would spin through every gear and was getting beat by bike I should be stomping. I had 12/41 gearing but I just swapped out to 13/41 i have a +4 swinger, extended axle and have basic mods with a play port. Weight is 280 on stock frame. Current tires are 20x11-10.

the Honda radials from FAST are pretty good for out there..

one problem is probably the extended swingarm. if your not getting traction then moving it further out will only increase the problem by having less weight on the tires.

I have been running some Dunlop radials

I haven't had much luck with 10" rims it doesn't let the tire bite it seems because there isn't much sidewall to the tire

1 more thing is tire pressure. I usually only run about 3-4 psi  to much air will make them spin like crazy

edit: the track out there is totally different when it has some moisture on it than when its dry. once its moist you should be able to get some grip that's for sure...

its like a clay/dirt/sand mix. when it dries its hard packed and kinda slick. when its wet it seems to hook pretty hard if you can bite into it some.

sounds like you had way to much tire pressure

9'' rims are what I have been using. haven't messed with the 8's

Yea its usually hard pack with like a half inch of loose dirt on top. But its very soft dirt when they groom it. I'll try some 9in rims with some different tires. Any other suggestions other than the Honda radials or is that the way I need to go. I thought of paddles cause alot of the other areas are a sand hard pack mix. But where the sand is its very loose and deep.

4 snows or ohtsu pro wedges if your gonna get a set to run the track only. They hook good in the heavy wet stuff and dirt. Not so good in the powdery sand. I used to run them and play around one them too. They just aren't very thick. I'd want to stay away from rocks and sharp stuff.

I like both the pro wedge and the terrian traks. How tuff are terrain traks? I wont use them in trails but if I want to go do a few runs and then cruise around on the sand hard pack mix will they be fine? I like the multi purpose of the Honda tires but since I have a set of basically new dirt tires I want something that can hook hard for racing. I did see a couple raptors with the pro wedges out there that seemed to do good. But the terrain traks just look mean as hell.
