gomerkfx700
i went yesterday to the local shop just killing time and they has a set of ambush and a set of bazooka tires on the shelf. ive heard alot of good about the ambush but whats the word on the bazooka tires. by looking at them they fell lighter then the ambush they are 4ply not sure of the ambush. the tread is alittle more spaced out them the ambush and fells like the rubber is softer. locogato11283
I've never heard of the Bazooka but I looked them up.. What kind of riding are you doing? If you're riding trails and what not, I'd try the Bazookas. I am not fond of the way my uncut Ambush perform on my YFZ. If you want the best tire for your buck, go with the Ohtsu MR501. lil Doobie420
i have some and they hook pretty good in trails and on the dirt drag track just playing around.
gomerkfx700
Mostly I'll be trail riding and dragging with friends. I like the 501 but tend to get flats with them I've seen people with the ambush tires and they don't do to great lugs to close together but I think that the softer compound and farther spacing may do decent. locogato11283
Any 4-ply tire will puncture easier than a 6-ply. I agree, the spacing on the uncut Ambush is not ideal for trail riding. I actually prefer a staggered tread design for trails.
