gordo_dk
I have a stock cyl 350 with a drag port but I sometimes dune...as of now I have a stock tranny and I am wondering what tranny to use? Override? Lockup? Can someone give me the inside on these thanks?
chevota84
Lockup is in the clutch, its to add pressure to the disks to hold more power. Override is the tranny but I wouldn't do it in anything less than a dedicated drag bike and definitely not anything less than a dedicated sand bike. sheerider11
I heard a duneable is a little more forgiving then a full override

chevota84
Not afraid want to shift better, because it's not a full drag bike but I do drag quite alot The first thing to do is make sure all your parts are good. When I pulled mine apart I found that the shift shaft bore was ovaled and I had to machine it for bushings on both sides. That and a modded shift segment made it worlds better. Check the gears for wear grooves and the dogs for rounded edges. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Xparent BlueTapatalk
