SlowerThanYou
Strap a cynder block to the front bumper lol We do use bolt on weights on all our drag vehicles, including the quad. 5 lbs. bolted up will help, but other things need to be done also. See below. Time to play with a lock up clutch. im with tricked on this one. if its got a lockup id say maybe lightened the arms just a little more so it so hopefully it slips a little bit more...if it has no lockup id suggest getting one.....or tell her to get quick and good at feathering the clutch when its 1/2 way down the track.... It has a lock up. I knew they where useful to tune off the line. But that far out away from the line? If its slipping there wouldn't it slip bad once into higher gears? Most lock-ups are locked around 30' depending on numerous factors & set-ups. It has been mentioned already about taking weight off the arms. We work with this & it's a very fine line, but this is what needs to soften up the shift points. As you eluded to on the 3-4 shift. Good luck on doing this! IMO, this is for experienced clutch tuner's. I don't want to discourage you, but you better be willing to replace clutches.
camatv
what suspension are you running? stock? no link lower'd rear? dont raise the rear that will make it worse. you need to get the geo better. lower the rear and make the shock work more. a +10 may be just what you need. if its JUST a drag bike get an arm, get a r-1 shock OR works drag shock, or a springed marvin, fox float etc) and go have some fun suspension is going to work to your advantage. my wife's handles 12 paddle haulers it will wheelie at times with a +6 but it is manageable. r-1 rear and lower'd works up front. BUT its a full weight frame with steel axle and +2 steel arms and heavy swinger too. if it was me personally i'd just do shock's and go to a 10 to 12 over. slobanshee
Cam it's the white bike I was riding when you where at Sahara when you where kinda sick. Stock rear shock. No lowerling link. +2+4 axle. Front has Harley shocks. Bike sets up about stock height. When it was in a full weight frame it would never stand up unless wanted to
