bigboybanshee
Grippy pegs, heel guards and riding boots will greatly increase rider protection. I never go down the track without them! My pegs have spikes, always wear boots, helmet, gloves, etc. Safety is utmost priority. There are a ton of great points in this thread, but the sad truth is, no dirt/sand organizations are serious enough about the sport to implement it. sprinklerman
Bump. So I've been educating myself on neck braces..at least some. Which style seems to be preferred for at flat drags? I noticed leatt has a few different styles.
Paul M
Great thread ! Saw a video of a drag bike wreck , the kid got out of shape and some how his foot got between the chain and rear sprocket ! his foot dam near got cutoff all the while he was barrel rolling down the strip !! crazy wish I had the video , I will ask the kid at the bako drags and see if I can get it !! Safety gear is cheap compared to a hospital bill, 3 hrs at the er = about 5000 bucks
