sheerider11
So the way I'm reading this, you didn't port for the 4 mil? So are you running the spacer plate or you going to get custom cut domes?
Chris327
i did have it ported for the 4 mill and about the custom cut domes... i thought they were interchangeable so i don't have to custom cut them??? and no i am not running a spacer plate
sheerider11
You don't cut them, who ported your motor? They should be able to set you up with the domes you need
Zillaguy
With the 4mm long rod crank I have 19cc 4mil cut domes and run pump fuel with the timing at +7... The domes need to be cut 2mm deep than a normal dome... because the pistons come 2mm up out of the bores....
bansheegoon
X2. The piston goes down 2mm further and 2mm higher then stock stroke "4mmsttoker". The piston would smash the head. Has to be cut for the piston to go up further.
Jereme6655
There may be some confusion with the dome language. Yes you need domes that are for the +4 crank. Yes they have 2mm more cut out of them to clearance the crank. There are cookie cutter domes (just standard 19, 20, 21, etc...domes for +4mil carnks) and then there are custom cut domes which site sponsors can setup specifically to your motors needs to create the most power. Yes they are still interchangeable. Call one of our site sponsors and let em know what you have and talk to em and they will set you up with what works.... Mad_banshee_racer
I'm getting the same setup done now on my 87 shee, you really need to get the jugs ported for the 4mill hell with the plate. And yes custom cut domes. I'm getting Kevin at herr jugs to do mine.
davidonmars
I got a 4mm with these domes from Noss 23 13 115 running about 160psi compression. The 20 13 115 domes gave me about 190 psi much to high for pump gas
