LT ROOKIE
What is the best frame to use for 1/8 mile asphalt? Modified stock or full rigid? I am 230 pounds and the motor is an 18mm cheetah DM

I am 230 pounds and the motor is an 18mm cheetah DM I would check with the tracks you are planning to run first. Was under the impression some track require stock frames The majority of tracks we run require a stock chassis.

SlowerThanYou
Any mods to a stock frame to improve 60ft times like 4 or 6 over in the front We have a stock frame that pulls low 1.30 60's with a 443 cub on race gas.

tundish2800
Why would a track require a stock full frame? A rigid is a full frame.

Nothing else was said other than a stock frame. We run primarily NHRA tracks. You can feel free to call them to get your answer & I'll wish you good luck. LOL! RadarRacing
They dont have a stock frame requirement on anything else thats stupid. Ever see a stock frame on a funny car , or a top fuel dragster. Yeah..dumb.
LT ROOKIE
If I extend the stock frame 6 inches in the front will it help with the bike hooking up? I will use a +7swingarm with the torque strut to help prevent twisting. 20.5/10/10 AT tires with SD23 compound. I will try a 10 over swingarm if I don't extend the frame. What do you guys recommend

Ever see a stock frame on a funny car , or a top fuel dragster. Yeah..dumb. Wow, trying to be an arm chair asphalt drag racer & you're not even very good at it. Not that I needed to, but I did a quick check of the rulebook. There are a good many classes that require a stock frame & some others that can only have some mods done to them. The only thing you got right was funny car & top fuel dragster. Keep up the good work on being a stupid, dumb (to use your words) & ignorant arm chair drag racer. What do you guys recommend Again, I would recommend the above quote. It will do you no good if you modify the frame & they will not let you run it. Torque strut is not needed if the swingarm is built right. Tires seems like a good fit, but I have my opinion on others. You will need more than 10 over swingarm if no extended frame. We have a +14 on our bike, it was about right with our 443 gas cub. It has not been track tested with our 643 DMX. Last recommendation, listen to people that have actually ran asphalt. LT ROOKIE
Slower than u who can build me the right swingarm? I want to go with a ladder bar. My local track does not have frame restrictions, so is it worth the money to extend the frame only 6 inches in the front. The rest of the frame is going on a diet

My local track does not have frame restrictions, so is it worth the money to extend the frame only 6 inches in the front. The rest of the frame is going on a diet We designed this to help prevent the twisting we had before. We was unsure if it was going to work & had it built with a torque strut. It has worked so well, we don't use the torque strut anymore. There's a few key areas that may or may not be seen. That I feel makes this thing work very well. LT ROOKIE
I sent u a pm. Is it better to connect the upper bar of the wheelie bar to the top of the swingarm or to the chassis?
