bashee crazy kidd
im starting to fall in love with my400ex because it is effortless to pop up the front end without reving it up and droppin the clutch. so u guys who vote 2 stroke would rather have the powerband on a trail ride..... than haveing insane torque to pull over a log or sumthin
bignasty1
i wouldnt say ur 400 ex has insane torq cuz compare to my z i have a hard time gettin the wheeles up on a 400ex and the raptor guys will say the same about mine. but i still wouldnt rather have a 4 stroke on the trails. i like my 2 stroker . 4strokekiller
2 stroke all the way hey u know what they say...if u wanna go fast u gotta mix the gas. it takes twice the engine size of a 4 stroke to compete with a 2 stroke with half the displacement. 2 strokes forever!!! quadsrlife
wat he said... 2 strokes
Justintoxicated
I'd like to have one of each, a 450 yammy and my banshee But I think the 2-strokes are definately much cooler, and simpler, also I believe they are easier to mod for HP. But I could be wrong.
BansheeBrian
when a 4 stoke blows its top how much money is spent and how much time is used on the repair? Nuff' said.
Wassup350
If you know how to ride Banshees are a blast on the trails. I put some boysen power reeds on mine and it pulls wicked good. I dont need to pop the clutch anymore to do wheelies just goose it a little in first and it lifts the tires real nice. 2 strokes are hands down the best, you put a set of pipes on a Banshee and there isnt many 4 strokes that will be able to touch you. fixitrod
I'm with who ever said they'd like to have both. I love to ride wheelies and play, but it's a b1tch on my banshee compared to the 4 strokers. I rode a 400ex and the z400. I like the feel of the 400ex better, the z feels like a kids quad for some reason. But, the z did have some low end pull. I'm not even sure why they put a first gear on it. With that said, the 4 strokers are good to ride in small places like your back yard... The banshee is fine in the trails. That's where I mostly ride. On the track, it's mostly about skill anyway. And, on the straights, where most people want to race you, it's about power. Guess who's going to win.... the Banshee.
Killer Boots Man
two strokes are great in the sand but for trail riding and all around riding a four stroke is the way to go. If i lived where there was sand i would have a two stroke but there is only trails so i will have to live with a four stroke
fixitrod
I don't live by sand and I love it. I ride trails the most and it's still one of the fastest around. 2 strokes for me.
onebanshee
I gotta say that it is tough to beat the powerband of a shee, Plus i like knowing that when someone with a four stroke is talking shit I have nothing to worry about, my theory is "I can beat any four stroke" thats just kind of the way it is i guess, you cant compare. However I do like the Constant power of four strokes, my friend has a four stroke and i ride it every once in while in the dunes, i just ride if i want to just go cruz around and have fun, when i am ready race, hill shoot, or just haul ass my ass is on the banshee.
