band1t
Hey all Picked up a 05 4 mil. He had the receipt from the shop who built the engine to prove it was a 4mil. The thing is, it runs weird. I had it sitting and snapped it wide open and it went to a flat bog. I went to ride it and couldn't get it to start popping off the pipes. I want to say jets. I have read that it could be the CDI box not allowing the engine to rev. I know how to check jets But how do I check a CDI? If that's the problem
#1JUANstunna
Only way to check a cdi is to swap it with a known good working one.
band1t
It has the stock CDI rev box
hoppedupandcutdown
does it still have the parking brake crap on it? That will not let it rev.

hoppedupandcutdown
There is a switch on the clutch perch that tells the CDI that the park brake is engaged. It is known to stick.

Do I have to jumper the wires together?
