Help with jetting please!

I have a completely stock banshee I am taking off the air box lid and putting on lrd ajustable full pipes with the muffler shortend by 3in. What do I need for pilot main and needle position? Any experienced tunners please help!!! 88ft elevation and 70-90 degrees

27 pilot and 290 main, middle clip, 1.5 turns out on pilot air screw. Thats what i ran with pods and FMF golds on stock carbs.. It was perfectly jetted....

Damn close right there. I ran almost the same jetting on my stocker with airbox, K&N and t5's. 300 mains though i think....if i remember correctly, but we know how that goes... :closedeyes:

No thanks I want somewhat water protection.. But I am going to change the pipes this weekend and I will let you all know how it goes...I'm gona check the needle I think stock is middle clip but I want to check it and I have 27.5 pilot so I'm gona try it and I have a few mains ill start with 290. i always give a higher jetting then what peeps usually end up with... its a SAFE recommendation that way if someone goes and tries it they dont melt down the bike... its always safe and easy to start rich and work your way down. 

 

too many variations come into play to give a "exact" number....290's may work for some but lean for others etc...

 

ok well give me an accurate jetting for this setup

 

Mods: DMC 916 pipes, K&N filter with lid on, stock carbs and stock everything else.

Elevation: 3000-4000 above sea level.

Tempertaute where I ride: 45-60F

My current jetting: 280 mains and pilots is at 27.5, dont know what needle is at.

 

Im not going to change my jetting but want to know if im close to the right jetting since I cant do my own plug chop.
