Surfrjag
I got close to .030" and most aftermarket gaskets are around .020" maybe someone else gets different results...
Zillaguy
Stock is supposed to be .020" I was told by Tyson... When i was building my 4mill, I needed .020 base gaskets. The K&S gaskets i got were .030, but when torqued they squished to .021.. I disassembled and re-measured the gaskets, just to be sure.. blue97shee
Ive found K&S gaskets to be very inconsistant thru different sets though.

oldskool
Ive found K&S gaskets to be very inconsistant thru different sets though. Really? So they need to be checked before install I'm thinking stock is .

Tony Doukas Racing
Depending on the year the base gaskets vary in thickness and material. .020" to .030" some coated metal & some fiber.
