fresh rebuild and wont start

Recommended Posts

hey guy's I am new here, so here is my problem?

I have an 88 banshee, it was tierd last fall so I decided to rebuild it this winter, I sent my jugs off the vitos and they bored them to 65.5 and chapered the port openings, I also bought some of there super stock pistons. I also bought a cool head with 21cc domes, vitos water impeller, vitos power jet kit, vitos jet kit, a new stator, flywheel and coil, I also put on a new oversized rad and adjustable timming plate

So hers my problem, finally got it all put back together, put some new gas in today, and it wont start!!!

it has lots of spark( tried 2 different coils)it is getting fuel cause the plugs are wet when I pull them, i messed around with the timming and still nothing!!!

   can anyone HELP me

We have had A LOT of problems involving new stators from Ricky Stator and from RM Stator.  We've seen em come straight out of the box being bad......or last maybe a month....just to leave people stranded out riding.

Also....did you check to make sure your choke tube was hooked up when you reinstalled your carbs?  Carb bowls on correctly (side specific....little brass bb belongs on the choke side) are the carb slides in correctly (half moon cut out on slide facing air box)

Also does your bike have the TORS removed?  If not, try unplugging the little black box under the left front side of your fuel tank and unplug the two large boxes connected to your carbs.  The brain s tend to go bad and cause all SORTS of hell.
