Trinity stage iii porting

Hey guys I have an 02 banshee .010 over pump gas with trinity stage iii porting. The quad has been sittin in my garage for months at a time, I start it once and a while.(always with fresh 93 and amsoil 40:1) When I start it with the choke, it runs perfect. As soon as I turn the choke off it on cylinder starts to drop out. If I can remember correctly its the right cylinder that cuts out.

My question to you guys, is this a lean condition since the choke kinda fixes the problem? Also what else could cause the cylinder to cut out on a fresh motor?

 

Also what would a base line jetting be? CPI inframe, stock carbs, vforce reeds, k&n air filter, stock air box with vents, and pump gas trinity .010 bore. I think they killed the head a little too. I live in Long Island, New York in case you were wondering altitude.

Try cleaning the carbs. While you have it apart see what jets are in it. Trinity didn't give you a ballpark to start at?

 

 

BTW, what happened to trinity as a sponsor?

be careful john, this could turn into a BIG trinity bashing for you and im just trying to keep you in the good here.......lol

It's all good. They only were a sponsor for one year. That didn't do anything to save thier reputation....so they bounced. LOL

Good thing too....because we already have site sponsors who actually know how to do great work.
