Slayar71
HI all, When i get back from my deployment im going to start my banshee build. Ive owned a stock one with pipes reeds etc.. but i want a little more power out of it. I was thinking about doing a 4mil on it, or a bore kit. which do yall think is better or both? I would like to be sitting around 400cc, i will most likely run stock airbox modified. Also can yall give me a list of parts to upgrade clutch, carbs, and such. also what pipes would you recommend i was thinking cpi small bore inframe. I intend to trail ride, atv parks, dunes, and such. Money isnt an issue because im going to do it properly. all im interested in is yalls opinion and direction as far as parts and such. any opinions would be gratelly appriciated thank you. Surfrjag
4mil, ported, coolhead with 4mil domes, f.a.s.t. clutch, pancake bearing, advanced timing plate. maybe you can be a little more specific about what kind of riding your doing for the pipe selection but cpi's are a good pipe just more topend/drag pipe. I have been using some 28 pwk's and I like them a lot and you can keep your stock intake boots.
Zillaguy
4mm long rod crank, Wiseco 795 series pistons, Coolhead with 4mm cut domes (pump gas), cylinder porting for the 4mm (don't run a spacer plate!), gasket kit, seal kit, high flow water pump, Mull billet waterpump drive gear, oversized radiator, temp gauge, adjustable timing plate, good pipes, Pingle dual feed petcock, Driveline clutch, modded shift star, Mull detent bearing upgrade, modded shift shaft, trail cut trans (optional), V-Force 3's or 4's, billet intakes, 28mm PWK's, K&N pods with outerwears... J-Madd
Just cause you work on turbines or even for NASA doesn't mean you can do your own porting (with no experience) NO offense. Ive seen a cardiac bypass surgery and know how its done, but i cant do it. Even if you have the tools and a steady hand you have to know what material to take out On those cylinders. You can research that and maybe do it, but I would let someone else with experience port it. You already know that because you mentioned that though. Slayar71
oh i wouldnt do my own porting i know that for a fact i would send that out. but assembly of the engine and such i can do. like i said my type of riding will be all around, dunes, trail, atv parks, not any kind of serious drag racing or dune drag. im just looking for more performance that the stock 350 has. So it will be all around riding i guess if i had to say low mid or high end performance mid to high is more to me than low end. i would prefer something that has some legs to wind out. i dont know how to explain it more lol aggressive trail? lol. no drag racing tho expect for shits and giggles not serious.its not gettin an extended swing arm or things of that nature. im prolly going to put a +2 +1 laegers front end kit on it.
