jeramie Posted April 30, 2013 Report Share Posted April 30, 2013 Doing a pancake bearing install on a buddies bike. Do you have to re-use the original rods? All it came with was like a 3 inch threaded rod and the bearing and the part that pushes the clutch basket. This is very confusing and it didn't come with any kind of instructions. I know this is a common mod so someone can probably give me some instructions. jeramie Posted April 30, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 30, 2013 After further inspection, I stuck a magnet down in the actuator hole and came out with a chunk of metal abou a qharter inch wide and an eighth inch long. I got the actuator in, put the rod and ball in, now I'm confused again. So does the clutch basket go on, then the pancake bearing or what?
